AFRICAN CRUSADE

Opportunities are events or challenges that each of us desire to have during our lifetime. These “events” often come in many shapes that can cause us to miss the moment or overlook the hidden gem if we aren’t careful. Sometimes these moments are so well disguised that it causes us to dismiss the opportunity only to regret it at a later point in our lives.

With all of that being said, one these moments has knocked on my door. During the last two weeks in March of 2008, I have been invited to participate on an African Crusade. Times in the past I have dismissed events like this as a self-centered desire, however, this time God has knocked on my heart's door and I cannot let this moment pass me by.

This trip to Africa will be extensive traveling to five countries and preaching at several prestige churches. The beauty about this event is the opportunity to present the Message of Jesus Christ to several thousand hungry people. There will be healings, people delivered from many things, plus a mighty Holy Ghost outpouring. The countries that I will be traveling in are Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, and Senegal.

With this opportunity that has been presented to me allows a special opportunity for you. This moment comes two-fold for you.

  1. The most important thing that can be done for this trip is the covering of prayer and fasting. Pray that many people will be set free by the power of Jesus Christ, that healing will go forth, and protection for me while I am traveling.

  2. The cost of this trip will be around $3500 of which $2300 has already come in through the giving of my church. I am asking you to prayerfully consider giving to the crusade because many lives are in the balance. Several circumstances demand our money and I know the time we are living in the dollar doesn’t go very far. Take some time in prayer and if God impresses you to give please follow His direction and in return watch how He takes care of you.

Thank you in advance for your support concerning this trip to Africa. Remember the old Latin saying, “Carpe Diem” which simply means, “Seize the day.”

May Gods Blessings be upon you,

Pastor Rodney Tate
