AFRICAN CRUSADE

mapOpportunities are events or challenges that each of us desire to have during our lifetime. These "events" often come in many shapes that can cause us to miss the moment or overlook the hidden gem if we aren't careful. Sometimes these moments are so well disguised that we dismiss the opportunity, only to regret it at a later point in our lives.

With all of that being said, one these moments knocked on my door late last year when I was invited to participate in an African Crusade during March 2008. In times past I have dismissed opportunities like this as nothing more than a selfish desire. This time, however, God knocked on my heart's door, confirming through His "still, small voice" that this time it was clearly His desire for me to do this and I could not let this moment pass me by.

Words will never be able to express what I experienced, and the supernatural demonstration of God's spirit that was present during the Crusade services...Mind blowing healings took place right before my very eyes - A man with a crippled leg was instantly healed! Another man with "NO" right eye, but only an eye socket, stepped up to be prayed for and immediately we witnessed a "WOW MOMENT" we will never forget. God being the creator of our bodies in a matter of seconds put a BRAND NEW EYE in his formerly empty socket and he instantly received his sight!

Miracles, signs and wonders were just a part of the crusade. Just before preaching in Kumasi, Ghana to a church of around 700, God had laid on my heart to preach a simple, fundamental message of Acts 2:38. Unbeknownst to me at that time, the sermon was being broadcast live on the second largest radio station in Kumasi. God asked me to preach about salvation and over 3,000,000 people heard the gospel on that day! Several in attendance that day received and infilling of God's Spirit and many more were baptized in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ.

The opportunity to return to Ghana and Nigeria has once again knocked on my heart's door. I have been asked to return in February 2009 to teach leadership seminars during the day and lead more crusades at night. Please pray that God will supply the funds for the trip, if this is indeed what He has in store for my future.

Please take a moment and view our African Crusade pictures from 2008. Perhaps God will speak to your heart to donate to the upcoming crusade. If so, you can click on the Donate button on our Home page and send funds via a secure link through PayPal.

Thank you in advance for your support concerning this trip to Africa. Remember the old Latin saying, "Carpe Diem" which simply means, "Seize the day."

May Gods Blessings be upon you,

Pastor Rodney Tate
